Port 2015: Great Hopes in the Coming Harvest

PORTUGAL (Porto) – Due to this year’s growing conditions, port producers are setting their hope on the 2015 harvest. Some of them compare this year’s pending harvest with the 2011 harvest. It is a fact that due to the warm and dry weather, the 2015 wine harvest earlier, possibly as early as at the end of August. Even though the ripening of grapes is by no means finished, some producers of top ports announce. These opinions are also supported by David Guimaraens, director of “The Fladgate Partnership”, to which the Taylor’s Crof and Fonseca Port houses belong.
