In the modern state of Israel, wine is grown on a growing field of more than 5.000 hectares – important growing regions are Bet Schemesch, Zichron Ja'akow and the Golan Heights ISRAEL (Tel Aviv) - The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute in Tel Aviv is already organizing its second visit of Israeli wine cellars at the International Leading Trade Fair for the Wine and Spirits Business (ProWein 29 - 31 March 2009) in Düsseldorf. At the Israeli trade fair stand G60 in hall 6, among others the wine cellars Binyamina, Galil Mountain, Golan Heights, Recanati, Tishbi and Vitkin will be present.

 

The wine country Israel has become one of the most ambitious and interesting wine countries in the world. Proof for this is are the 14 wines from the holy land with more than 90 points, which they had been rated at a wine-tasting, which was organized by Wine Advokate in December 2007. Tenor of the tasters: "Israel has managed to produce high-class quality wines and deserves to be recognized as a wine country by all wine friends in the whole world. The wines have typicity and not only are the best of them classic and convincing, but they also impress."
