GERMANY - Together with the photographer Udo Bernhart, Monika Kellerman is telling her very own personal culinary Lake Garda story: She visits vintagers, olive oil-producers, trattorias and osterias, cheese makers, trout breeders, truffle seekers, fruit-growing farms and many more which shape the culinary landscape of Lake Garda.
She talks to people, discusses traditional and modern growing and production methods, she tastes tortellini, Carne Salada, cheese, wine and oils; she looks under lids and makes people tell her old secret recipes. Udo Bernhart, who makes sure that all of this is caught on camera, is always on her side.
