FRANCE (Tours) - François Chidaine, an experienced wine maker himself and one of the leading personalities of viticulture at the Loire river, frustrated leaves the managing board of the InterLoire (Interprofession des Vins du Val de Loire) and, thus, leaves the organization immediately effective. The reasons were fundamental disagreements, Chidaine told the Decanter, and that he had thrown in the towel because of the organization’s bureaucracy and incompetence.
