GERMANY (Geisenheim) - For one day once again, more than 150 students of the first semester majoring in viniculture and oenology, beverage technology as well as international wine economy at the university of Geisenheim put their white coats and pens away in order to make short movie reports about the topic wine.

On the occasion of the lecture about applied computer science, more than 15 short movies were shot between November and March. Project leader Robert Lönarz, who has been working with the projects "Hesse-Vinothek" and "Multimedia Moselwinemuseum" for years, hired Hans Jakobi, a director of photography and renowned film expert (www.hansjakobi.de) to assist him in his team this year. His idea of a series about the topic "Wine is..." was first realized with this year's students and the well-known online-wine consignor www.vino24.de.

The short movies will be shown on Tuesday, 19th May at 07:00 PM at the Gerd-Erbslöh-Hörsalt in the campus Geisenheim. (red.yoopress)
