The wine terminology in English - a challenge that is designed to facilitate those interested in a seminar from the wine industry

GERMANY (Geisenheim) - There has been a number of new words that were created particularly for the wine industry. These words are used by both professionals as well as wine lovers and have become indispensable. On March 5, 2010, from 03:30 PM to 09:00 PM and March 6, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Nicole Tomberg will talk about this wine language in an English seminar with the title “Wine & Food”.

In this diversified intensive seminar, wine lovers and professionals have the chance to learn even more wine glossary than they already know. Particularly, wine descriptions and the topic wine and food will be discussed. Participants will thus describe wines with their own words and will use what they have just learned right there. The seminar includes a special service of the correction of written preparations, brought in by the participants. There will be a large number of materials with useful glossary about the topic wine descriptions.

Participants will need a good knowledge of the English language (at least 5 years of school English). Vintagers with advanced English knowledge are welcome, as well as IWW and Viticulture and oenology students, tour guides, employees of the restaurant business and other wine friends. The seminar fee includes study materials, coffee/water and a pretzel. Price: €125, students €75. (red.yoopress)
