GERMANY (Geisenheim) - In early 2010, the Campus Geisenheim started figuring out a modern Corporate Design for the learning institution of Geisenheim. Already in September, the Research Institute Geisenheim went online. Now as we approach 2011, another important milestone of communicative design can be presented in the Web 2.0. The website www.campus-geisenheim.de.

The "clip", the central graphic element, which is a symbol for the functional cooperation of all institutions on Campus Geisenheim, was intelligently included in the Campus' website by the PR agency Castello-Advertising from Offenbach and the software supplier IT Saftig Neuwied.

The most important key points of the team of website developers was to make it easier for the visitor to click through each of the information pages of all institutions as well as to prevent any redundancies of the content. In addition, the focus was on the adequate presentation of general information about the "colorful" life on the Campus Geisenheim.

Two central features are a special highlight. First: The "Campus BLOG", the virtual diary of Geisenheim (blog.campus-geisenheim.de) and second: the "Campus TV". The latter includes audio-visual media content, which consists of a project group of students and employees and which will present interesting reports from research and teachings. On top of that, "Campus TV" was given a personalized touch like the video portal Youtube  (www.youtube.de/campusgeisenheim).

Thus, Campus Geisenheim has managed not to overdue it with any of the web-features on its website, Web 2.0 is defnitely a hit. It is full of well placed and visually appealing offers, icons, easy index and fast clicks through the desired institutions - together with an appealing colorful design - Bravo! (red.yoopress)
