GERMANY (Mainz) - The Tasting World Tour, which has been successfully carried out by the German Wine Institute (DWI) for years, will take place in Switzerland for the first time. German winemakers will present their wines such as Riesling, Pinot Noir & Co. in the Congress Center in Zurich on Monday, January 24th 2011. As of now, consumers and visitors can register.

The tasting is for professionals from the areas of trade, the hotel & restaurant sector, press as well as private wine lovers. In addition to Riesling wines, with which German winegrowers have already made a name for themselves, the visitors have the opportunity to taste subtle Pinot Noir, expressive Pinot Blancs and Pinot Gris as well as Silvaner, Scheurebe wines and interesting red blends.
