Fee is constitutional: Constitutional Court confirms German Wine Fund

GERMANY (Mainz) – Sighing at the German Wine Fond in Mainz, but gnashing of teeth at some German big wineries and other wine producers, which had claimed the fee for the Mainz advertising institution to be unconstitutional. Reason: the Karlsruhe Federal Constitutional Court considered it as justified the wine business to pay this compulsory special fee, and so have done several other instances of administrative courts.
