The visitors can decide on their own whether they will be strolling alone from gallery to gallery, from winery to winery, whether they go on foot, by special bus, with a Velotaxi or confide in one of more than 100 professional art or wine guides that explain both.
“It’s not about a nice accompaniment for art or a beautiful setting for wine, but an attempt to increase mutual awareness and to establish a dialogue. To experience art and wine from a new perspective,” said Steffen Christmann, president of the VDP Prädikat Wine Estates. “Many international wine collectors will learn all about new galleries. Conversely, an experienced art collector will experience, how art and wine inspire each other.”
Frank Lehmann of Galerie Gebr. Lehmann added: “It‘s really unique that you make multisensory sensuous experiences in such a relaxed atmosphere and gain a completely different, more profound insight into art and wine. How could these two art forms, which have been associated with the concept of “truth” since antiquity, increase their mutual understanding better?” (aw.yoopress)
