VDP.The final curtain: „Long winery nights“

Across the Ahr to Baden or from the Saar to Saxonia, you will be able to take part in historic cellar visits and night trips (Franconia) or in culinary wine trips to Rhinehesse. You may experience the "jag of senses" while you are watching short movies, listening to talented artists or celebrate just tons of birthday parties: The Saar people will celebrate in the Villa Cellar and Nahe people will gather at the Big Bottle Party in Castle Wallhausen. Some local associations have accumulated their wineries in the same area (Nahe, Baden), others, like Palatinate, are offering a winetour shuttle along the Weinstrasse to the wineries: an ode to the motto of this year's anniversary celebration "100 years of the best wines by creative vintners from top sites".

"All us VDP members had the chance to celebrate a wonderful 100th year. We were extremely happy about the support we received and the good reputation of German top wines", says Steffen Christmann, President of the VDP Wine Estates. "Now we are eagerly awaiting the finale of our anniversary celebrations in a place where the VDP's past meets its future: At the wineries! After we put the focus on our vineyards in spring, we are celebrating its successful end at the second most significant location, namely the wineries, where we have cellars that have been there for decades and which are interesting in terms of architecture as well as tradition.
