Bordeaux active - Wine and culture from the summer to the fall

Visitors may look around the wineries, take part in the events or relax at the wine bar "Bar à Vin" in Bordeaux city and let the world pass by them. Which ever way wine and culture interested people prefer, there will be a Bordeaux in red, white or rosé or sweet, that is for sure.

As of now we would like to recommend two events:

Summer music- Les Estivales de Musique (2. - 16. Juli)

Many different classic concerts, from the piano to the string quartet, are given in Châteaux all around Médoc and Pessac Leognan, among them Lafite Rothschild and Loudenne. Generally, every concert ends with a tasting of the wine produced at the winery there.

Les Grands Crus Musicaux (16. - 28. Juli)

On the occasion of the VII. International festivals of classic music, initiator Marc Laforet, one of the most well-known French pianists, is inviting to high-level music evenings in famous wineries like  Château Canon, Château Smith Haute Lafitte, Châetau Lascombes, Châteaux d'Yquem, Château Léoville Poyferré as well as Château Pape-Clément. Gran Cru wine tastings as well as the unique surroundings are rounding off these glamorous concerts.
