Decanter World Wine Awards 2012 has begun

UK (London) - With more than 12,000 participating and rated wines, the Decanter World Wine Award (DWWA) has turned into the largest international wine competition. This year, all sorts of wines from at least 25 wine nations will be rated by the jury that consists of Steven Spurrier as well as a fifth of the world's Masters of Wine highly.  

„2012 will be a very exciting year for the Decanter World Wine Award", says Sarah Kemp, director and founder of the competition. "We have guaranteed our winners marketing strategies throughout the whole world thanks to the big success we had in 2011. The international world trusts this award and thus the quality of our winner's products is ensured. We are so looking forward to our 2012 winner".

Wines can still be sent in for participation until March 1, 2012. The main condition is that the producers have to have had produced at least 1800 liters per participating wine or 450 liters per sweet wine. The ratings will take place in London starting April 23 until May 4, 2012. The results will then be announced by the Decanter at the London International Wine Fair on May 22. (red.yoopress)
