Franconia's Best of Gold

20 top wineries have announced their taking part. On their tasting booths a wide range of visitors have the chance to taste sophisticated Franconian wines. The vintagers themselves and wine experts are offering their advice while visitors are tasting.

The Franconian association of wine growers is holding the Best of Gold-presentation the fifth time, since there has been such good feedback in the past few years.

This event provides attraction because visitors can taste and compare the wines of the Best of Gold-prize winners 2008 with others from 2007/2008. All of this will take place in the historical building, in the Alter Kran in Würzburg, which will provide a wonderful atmosphere at the feet of the fortress Marienberg and along the river Main. You can find further information on the  website of the Franconian association of wine growers.
