At large community stands at the FORUM VINI, many many wine-growing regions have been presenting their best wines for years. Traditionally, this year will include stands by Franconia, Austria and Portugal again. There will be a new player this year however, namely the Comune Biancavilla from Sicily, that will travel to Munich with its wines, specialties and tourism offers.
For the first time this year, 20 new winemakers will present their excellent white wines under the name of "Generation Riesling".
The largest consumer wine fair in the South German area will once again take place for 3 days and attract thousands of visitors. Why? Awesome wines! Many exhibitors take their winning wines to FORUM VINI. This is why the winemaker Sommerach, for instance, can proudly present many of his awards at the community stand of Franconia. Among others, he received the gold medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2010 in London as well as the Decanter World Wine Award 2010. Also, Austrian winemaker Roland Horvath was so lucky as to win gold at the International Wine Challenge in Vienna with his Grüne Veltliner Kamptal DAC Reserve 2009 and the Guerrazzi 2007 from Tular will show off two "bichhieri" of the des Vini d’Italia.
Not only can you buy great wines at all the FORUM VINI stands, but you can also experience them first hand at the many special tastings. FORUM VINI meets MUNDUSvini! A special show will offer Munich's wine fans various winning wines of the International Wine Prize MUNDUSvini. MUNDUSvini is known as the most significant wine competition under the auspices of the International Organization for Wine and Vine (OIV). (red.yoopress)
