“As I don’t cultivate wine myself, I can build on quality without compromise in my purchases” – that’s what Andreas von Rosen estimates particularly in his new sparkling wine production. During those seven years when the businessman participated in the management of the Friedrich Altenkirch winery, Lorch, he discovered his love to sparkling wine. Now he is keen on realizing the Puremonde sparkling wines according to his own ideas.
“When you want to produce wine, you always depend on the interaction of different factors and persons. Once, the harvest is bad, once the cellarer has ideas different from my ones. With my new brand, I will exactly get the product I want to have: together with experts, I choose top basic wines from Germany that I refine to premium sparkling wines in collaboration with a renowned sparkling wine cellar”, Mr. von Rosen explains his concept.
Mr. von Rosen doesn’t want to miss the experiences he had in the Altenkirch winery: “It was a great fun to me to accompany the development of the Altenkirch company up to now. It was a challenge to establish wines and sparkling wines from steep slopes not only in Germany but as well abroad. But I think we achieved this excellently, and I leave the winery with a good feeling”, the businessman says.
Andreas von Rosen’s newest coup, the Puremonde Perles and Puremonde Grande Perles sparkling wines, are from July on available at select traders. And what will be his next project? “We will soon sell a Riesling Secco, and one day, I would like to produce my own vintage sparkling wine!”, Mr. von Rosen says. (red.yoopress)
