FRANCE (Bordeaux) - “Small but noble”, that’s how the first Chinese négociant (specialty wine retailer) could be described, who has opened his residence named “La Cave du Dynastie” at one of the best addresses in the city, only a few steps away from the “Bordeaux Wine Bureau” (CIVB) in Bordeaux downtown.

“We want to be a visible presence and experienced and consulting agents for Chinese wine traders when they visit Bordeaux and purchase wines in the Bordelais region”, LeeLee Yung, CEO of the company, explains. “Meanwhile, this is necessary because more and more traders and importers travel to Bordeaux personally to purchase their wines. Often, they are uncertain, and this is where we start. We help by organizing contacts and visits to the producers and by supporting our compatriots in tastings.”

“La Cave de Dynastie”, the négociant who has no more relations to “Dynastie Fine Wines”, a big Chinese producer, currently employs seven Chinese employees and focuses on organizing wine tastings and wine sales in small and medium-sizes châteaux. Chinese customers can participate in wine tastings organized by “La Cave du Dynastie” but the purchase of wines is reserved to Chinese importers.

“La Cave de Dynastie” has been actively working in Bordeaux for as long as two years but so far, they had no permanent subsidiary. As has been remarked in Bordeaux with astonishment, a very noble and expensive address has been chosen; this is typical and it is due to the Chinese mentality. Chinese never would rent a shop on the outskirts or in cheaper areas but it has to be the best and most renowned address that exists. (red.yoopress)
