Two Italian names can be found on the list; both of them have their home in Tuscany: Piero Antinori and Lorenzo Bencistà Falorni; the man that founded and patented 2002 Enomatic. Enomatic is a way of pouring wine that -thanks to its progressive technique- makes it easy to pour the tap the wine directly into the glass and which enables the wine to keep its character for up to four weeks after opening the bottle. This is a revolution that has boosted the culture of quality wine.
"It is very rare to have the occasion to drink a whole bottle of Château Margaux“, says Lorenzo Bencistà Falorni, chairman of the company Enomatic, which is represented in 70 countries. "More often you will find that you can only drink one glass", he explains. "However, it is not easy to find a Premier Cru in the glass - but with the technology of Enomatic this is now possible", he adds with a smirk on his face.
Companies that use the Enomatic-system are able to save immensly, since they can empty the wine bottles completely. Then, the consumer gets a product that has the right temperature and that is available for a good price in the right amount. Furthermore, it is possible to offer a wide range of wines, which enables the consumer to taste many different wines and along with that receive interesting information from the sommelier.
"Drinking less, but concentrating on the quality and personality of a wine, that is the wine culture that Enomatic brings", stresses Lorenzo Bencistà Falorni, who is positively surprised about being on the list of the Decanter. "Those wine stores that are using the Enomatic-system, present themselves in a highly thrilling ambience, in which professional and hobby wine lovers can see the fun of tasting numerous wines or discover the various differences in tastes of each wine-growing region", he explains. "Thus, the consumer collects a huge amount of sensoric knowledge and experience, which is usually only available to few experts. This is exactly what makes Enomatic so revolutionary", says the genius who invented this system. (red.yoopress)
