Besides Carl F. Prince of Löwenstein, whose winery Fürst Löwenstein will be turned into a castle winery, an investment is also planned for the winery Schloss Frankenberg directed at the hotel business, gastronomy and also partly self supply

GERMANY (Franconia) - Two blue-blooded Franconian winery owners will soon "commit adultery" and will become hoteliers - in addition to the juice of the grape. Not only will Carl F. Prince of Löwenstein move his Franconian winery from Kreuzwertheim to the royal castle of Kleinheubach in the summer of next year and thus take advantage of the contemporary technical advantages of the partly historic rooms there - a new cellar and storage facility will be built there. In addition, a castle hotel with a restaurant will be built. The ambitious winery Fürst Löwenstein, which is still active in the Rhinegau, will be turned into a castle winery soon.

The winery Schloss Frankenberg in Weigenheim (central Franconia), which was revived by a new owner, also has a lot of plans. The Swabian entrepreneur Roland Belz is currently trying to lead the "stagnating" viticulture to the old standard with the help of the former owner and current estate manager Carl baron of Lerchenfeld (which was achieved by 2008). However, there is a plan to build two restaurants in Frankenberg (one local restaurant and one cafe/bistro) and also the hotel management, which will be integrated into the castle, which is overlooking Weigenheim. Also, they plan to become self-suppliers and maintain a free-range husbandry of cows, pigs, goats and poultry until they are ready for the pan.. (r.knoll / translator c.siegel)
