The winery Schloss Frankenberg in Weigenheim (central Franconia), which was revived by a new owner, also has a lot of plans. The Swabian entrepreneur Roland Belz is currently trying to lead the "stagnating" viticulture to the old standard with the help of the former owner and current estate manager Carl baron of Lerchenfeld (which was achieved by 2008). However, there is a plan to build two restaurants in Frankenberg (one local restaurant and one cafe/bistro) and also the hotel management, which will be integrated into the castle, which is overlooking Weigenheim. Also, they plan to become self-suppliers and maintain a free-range husbandry of cows, pigs, goats and poultry until they are ready for the pan.. (r.knoll / translator c.siegel)
