Faked Brunello di Montalcino seized

ITALY (Montalcino) – A large-scale fake has been discovered by the Italian police. Alleged fraudsters tried to put thousands of Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico wine bottles into circulation via faked labels. As their colleagues in France, the producers in the Montalcino and Chianti regions could now suffer turnover losses and an image damage.
