All information is available for free. Furthermore, registered users can list or add on the platform, compile favorites’ lists or memory lists or simply estimate each vintner or wine in the world. Those activities create a personal wine profile that allows individual recommendations and further connecting factors to other users and wines. Visitors can learn what trader offers a certain wine online or on-the-spot, and what wine fits to what occasion.
Vintners and wine traders can present their company and their offer easily on the portal and, thus, directly, to their target group. Via the estimations by the community, they obtain a direct feedback to the wines listed, a valuable hint for their product range policy. On the next level, users can order the wines on the platform directly from the producer.
dreizehn° - Your Wine has been founded in Munich in 2012, and it intends to be the first digital market place that changes the wine world sustainably. Kay Liedl, initiator and managing director, has been working in online business for 16 years, right from the very start. Norbert Schauermann, who has been a businessman since 1996 and who already founded a successful social community service with “Lokalisten”, is responsible for marketing and sales.
