This term stands for a person of upscale origins with impressive assets. How Helmut Dönnhoff's bank account looks these days is his and his family's secret. His family, by the way, already includes a new junior genius: the 31-year-old Cornelius. The popular vintner from Oberhausen will hardly argue with his family's reputation. When he took over his father's winery in 1971, there were only 4 hectares of vineyards. The winery that was then 180 years old and which was a mix of various wine businesses back then, mainly produced sweet wines. Not to mention that these wines were hardly known anywhere else in the area.
